Update in Tax Table

  • As per Families first coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) the tax table involves four new kinds of tax monitoring to benefit employees with paid sick leave or paid expanded family and medical leave, and  wages and health care premium costs for paid leave credits
  • The tax table also involves a new federal payroll item to give employers with paid leave credits.

Update in Forms

  • There are no form changes available in Payroll update.

Update in e-File and Pay 

  • You don’t find any further changes in efile & Pay update.

Things to Note -

For Affirmation that you have received the latest updates or not. Open the QuickBooks and select Employees then select Get Payroll Updates. Then, click Update. Once the update is completed shut down the QuickBooks and then open the QuickBooks again to finish the process.

Turn on Automatic Updates – Select Help then, click Update QuickBooks. Under the Options tab, choose Yes for Automatic Update and examine the Mark All box that you get all updates. This is done to remain updated with the Intuit’s latest update arriving in Qb payroll.
